Spring 2023
Our Town has become one of the most popularly produced plays of the twentieth century. It is quite possible that on almost any given day of the year, somewhere in the world, Our Town is being performed!
“Our Town” has been described as “the greatest American play ever written”. It presents the fictional American town of Grover’s Corners between 1901 and 1913. With the Stage Manager as your guide, Thorton Wilder’s classic story of this small town takes you on a poignant journey where you will become enthralled with the everyday life of Grovers Corners and witness this small community “in their birth, in their living and in their dying.” It is an essential play about how we must embrace and appreciate the value of life itself.
