Autumn 2018
We had a fantastic week where we performed 5 short one act plays which put 24 actors on the stage. Well done everyone! We followed that with our inaugural one act festival which had local groups and ones from further afield perform over 4 nights. The winning play would receive the Terry Nealon Perpetual Trophy in memory of our great friend who passed away earlier this year. The lineup for the festival was:-
Wednesday 7th
The Hebrew Lesson by Wolf Mankowitz (Insight Theatre)
Interplay by Joe Bergin (Bradan Players, Leixlip)
Babels in Arms by David Ives (Insight Theatre) [non competitive]
Thursday 8th
Bang , You’re Dead! by Paul Reakes (Coolmine Drama Circle)
Sex, Lies and Sticky Tape by Martina O’Connor (Insight Theatre)
Weird by Tirna McGauley (Explore Youth Theatre, Leixlip)
Friday 9th
Positive Dead People by Pauline Shanahan (An Nuadha Players, Maynooth)
The Shadow of the Glen by John Millington Synge (Lucan Drama)

Saturday 10th
After Renvale by Ken Moroney (Bridgewater, Arklow)
Mr. Foot by Michael Frayn (Donabate & Portrane Drama)
